Invited by Ukrainian Association of wood working companies, Agency FORZA expert Radmila Ustych presented SIPPO program at first international WoodInvestForum2015 that took place on September 23, 2015 in Kyiv. The Forum took place in the framework of Lisderevmash fair – the fair for equipment for forest and wood processing industries. The event was meant as a dialogue among decision makers, government and business, to discuss the topical sector’s issues and to present new projects that are being currently implemented in Ukraine. Radmila Ustych talked about opportunities that the SIPPO program is offering to Ukrainian wood processing companies in entering European markets. She presented results of 16 Ukrainian wood processing companies that had participated in 11 professional trade fairs in 2007-2015, and stressed that at the last fair for furniture components ZOW 2014 (Germany) companies altogether made 102 contacts that in the next 6 months produced 1.95 mio EUR of sales. According to participants, ZOW was one the most efficient fairs for Ukrainian companies, and SIPPO decided to repeat the successful ZOW experience again in 2016. In the moment SIPPO is shortlisting the companies for participation in ZOW that will take place on February 16-19, 2016, in Bad-Salzuflen, Germany.
