Circular Furniture Labs is an initiative of the CirCLER project. This activity is designed to promote accessibility, dissemination, and the practical use of the results, knowledge and practices achieved within the project, ensuring they directly benefit the sector.

Florence, October 10, 2025 – A significant moment for the European furniture industry occurred at the Santa Teresa complex, home to the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence, with the official presentation of the CirCLER project (Circular Learning for a Sustainable Furniture and Wood Value Chain).

On 12 November 2025 at 10:00 CET, the first session of the Women for Circular Furniture Conferences Cycle will take place online, bringing together inspiring women leaders and organisations driving transformation in the European furniture industry.
Hosted by CETEM within the framework of the CirCLER project, this webinar will explore gender equality, leadership, and the transition towards a circular and sustainable economy in the furniture and wood sectors.

CirCLER Finalises Training Content for Circular Economy Transition Managers in the Furniture Industry
The CirCLER consortium has completed the development of all training contents within the CirCLER training course for Circular Economy Transition Managers (CETM): Leading the Circular Shift in the Furniture Industry.
This achievement represents an important step in CirCLER’s mission to enhance circular and sustainable skills in the furniture and woodworking sectors. The partnership has designed and validated a comprehensive Joint Curriculum that bridges Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Higher Education (HE), providing a coherent European framework to prepare professionals capable of leading the circular transition.
CirCLER Project Consortium Meeting in Vaasa
The CirCLER project partners met in Vaasa on 20th November 2025, hosted by the University of Vaasa, for the fifth transnational project meeting. The CirCLER project aims to define a new qualification profile and develop innovative curricula for the Circular Economy Transition Manager (CETM) in the furniture industry.
