Discussions at the meeting focused mainly on present status of the learning tools for EQF levels 4, 5 and 6, which comprise the training materials and which will be supported by interactive tools such as podcasts and videos created with the purpose of helping learners to understand and more easily accumulate the information provided by training courses. These learning materials will be provided in English, Spanish, Italian, German, Romanian, Slovenian, Ukrainian and Spanish languages.
Another important point of the meeting was focused on the delivery process of the micro-credentials which are based on the learning outcomes of each pill and which will demonstrate the level of training in the field of the learners after their achievement.
Based on the results obtained in WP3, a self-assessment tool will be developed which will allow trainees and interested professionals to assess their level of skills/knowledge related to the circular economy. The outcome of this self-assessment will guide them to the learning units and training toolkit they need to follow.
The CirCLER project partners highlighted the importance of setting up the "CirCLER Furniture Labs" community at national level, which will have the objective to meet and discuss important issues related to the circular economy sector in the furniture field and their relevance for VET and HE institutions.
The platform for integrating education materials, which will also include a user manual, is already under development. It will be tested in the pilot project to assess the functionality of the platform as well as the users' access to the training tools in order to improve it. The education platform will be available to users in seven languages (English, Spanish, Italian, German, Romanian, Slovenian and Ukrainian).
The meeting of the CirCLER project consortium in Brașov consolidated the engagement to provide the learning materials and tools required to lead the furniture sector in the circular economy area in order to achieve the proposed objective of creating a sustainable future.
