CirCLER Boosting the Circular Economy in the Furniture Sector

We are pleased to present the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OR_jOd6FxZQ  of the CirCLER project - Circular Economy Transition Manager: guiding companies of the furniture value chain to deploy their transition strategy for a more circular economy, an Erasmus+ initiative co-funded by the European Union.

Over the course of three-years (2024-2027), CirCLER will bring together 16 partners from 9 European countries to develop the professional profile of the ‘Circular Economy Transition Manager (CETM)’, a key figure that does not yet exist in the sector, but which will be essential to meet the challenges posed by this transition.

The project aims to create new training courses at EQF levels 4, 5 and 6, addressing green, digital and transversal skills. To this end, an innovative training toolkit will be developed, with multimedia and interactive materials, available in 7 EU languages and customizable training paths to the specific needs of sector students and professionals.

CirCLER main results are:

- A report on the Knowledge, Skills and Competencies needs of the Circular Economy Transition Manager.

- Three new training curricula (EQF 4, 5 and 6) for the CETM.

- A report on ESCO occupations affected by the sector Circular transition.

- An online training toolkit, open and interactive with customizable learning paths for learners.

- A pilot course with at least 400 participants.

- A trainers’ physical mobility in Italy

- Several Circular Furniture Festivals at national and international level.

CirCLER will strengthen the European furniture sector, promoting a more resilient and sustainable industry and preparing it to face the challenges posed by its circular transition.
